How to Articles

Click each article to open.

1. Either click the JOIN button in the main menu, or click here to be taken to the membership page. (Link will open in a new tab or window so you can continue to follow these instructions.)

2. Once on the membership page read through the options and choose the membership level that works for you – either Single Business or Multiple Businesses. Click the Sign Up button below the level you wish to use to sign-up.

3. You will be taken to a page to complete basic information about yourself. The Username you choose cannot be changed. All other information can be changed later if you wish.

4. When uploading an image please use a square image that is 200 px tall and 200 px wide. Other images may not look right when presented on the site.

5. Click the box to accept site and membership Terms and Conditions.

6. Click the Register button. You will be taken to PayPal to complete your purchase.

1. Either click EVENTS in the main menu, or click here to be taken to the Events page. (Link will open in a new tab or window so you can continue to follow these instructions.)

2. The Events page will show you the Luncheon option for either a Member or Non-Member. If you are a member and do not see the member price for the luncheon you must first Login.

3. You can click on either the title or the the “Buy Now” button to purchase your ticket.

4. Once on the event page you must indicate the number of tickets you wish to purchase. Click the ‘+’ sign under the TICKETS section to add the number you’d like. Use the ‘-‘ sign to decrease the number.

5. After you’ve added the number of tickets a field will pop-up asking if there are any dietary restrictions; if so complete this section. If there are none you can leave this blank.

6. Click ADD TO CART

7. The cart page gives you an overview of what you are about to purchase. You can make changes on this page, such as increasing or decreasing the quantity of tickets, use coupon codes (if available), etc. If you make changes on this page click UPDATE CART. If you review the page and there are no changes click the “Check Out with PayPal” button.

8. You will be taken to PayPal to complete your purchase. Follow the instructions on the PayPal site. You do not need a PayPal account to do this – you may use a credit card if you’d like.

If you are not taken to the PayPal site and complete the purchase you have not purchased a luncheon ticket!

1. If you go to the login page and realize you’ve forgotten your password there is a link below the login portion to reset – click “Lost your password?”, or you may click here to be taken to the Lost Password page. (Link will open in a new tab or window so you can continue to follow these instructions.)

2. Enter the email which you used to sign-up to the site. If you do not use the correct email you will not receive a reset link.

3. You should receive the reset link within 10 minutes. If you do not please check your spam or junk folders.

If you do not receive a reset email please click here to contact us and your password will be reset for you. Please provide your username if you know it, or the email email used to sign-up on the site.

4. After you have reset your password click LOGIN in the main menu. If you do not see the login screen you may have to clear your cache. Follow the instructions on the login page to help with this.

Something not working properly?

From time-to-time things don’t work right on the web. We want to make it right. Following are some steps to look at.

1. Try a different web browser.

There are many options for web browsers available to us. The two most problematic are Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. Two browsers that tend to work fairly well are Firefox and Safari. The first step is to try a different browser.

2. Clear your cache.

We browsers hold a cache of any site you visit. The goal is to speed up the site the next time you visit, but that cache can cause problems. If you don’t know how to clear the cache click here to learn how.

3. Are you behind a Firewall?

Security settings in some workplaces and on some personal computers can prevent certain actions from happening. If this is the case you may need to change your settings or wait until you are home and not behind a work Firewall.

4. Are you on public WIFI?

If you’re in a cafe, restaurant or public space that offers free WIFI their settings likely will prevent you from performing many actions. This is for security reasons. You will need to wait until you are no longer on public WIFI.

Still not working?

If you’d reviewed the above and things are still not working the first thing to do is make sure you’re system is up to date. The BWNG site is a modern website that takes advantage of current technologies. Your computer and browser should have all updates completed if something isn’t working correctly – this is the first step in troubleshooting a problem.
